Volunteer Director: The Volunteer Director is a key leadership role responsible for building, organizing, and supporting the volunteer community that makes Wichita Pride possible. From parade marshals to event greeters, our volunteers are the face of our organization, and this Director ensures they are prepared, placed appropriately, and supported every step of the way.
Vendor Director: The Wichita LGBTQ+ community relies on amazing local businesses and vendors who support Pride events. This role involves coordination with these essential partners to ensure they have the information and resources needed to effectively participate in our events. We seek someone passionate about supporting Wichita’s LGBTQ+ community and who can build strong, positive relationships with our vendor network.
Member at Large: Directors at Large serve as the vital bridge between the Wichita Pride Board and the diverse communities we represent. In this role, you will bring the voice, concerns, and celebrations of your specific community to the table while jumping in to support the organization where help is needed most. This position is ideal for someone who wants to be involved in leadership but values flexibility in their specific duties.
